COSTCO EVENTS UPDATING RIGHT NOW....PLEASE STAND BY IF PAGES SLOW TO LOAD!!!
The Great Lakes Boating Festival (GLBF) begins its 31st year to provide a great venue for the Marine industry and boaters everywhere. The GLBF is a fundraising opportunity for Grosse Pointe Youth Nautical Education Foundation (gpynef.org) in partnership with the Yachtsman’s Committee that includes displays of new boats, antique cars and other interesting displays. The event begins with the Annual Summer Breeze Party, Friday night and concludes the three day boat show and entertainment with Raffles on a Whaler, Rolex and others to be announced.
Funds raised at this event are used to sponsor and support youth nautical education and competitive events through out our community. Grants are provided for 10 annual college scholarships, funding high school sailing programs, educational seminars and sponsorship of major high schools and youth championships. The Foundation and Yachtsmen’s committee have raised over $3 Million to support the many causes to support our youth programs.
