Where Can I Demo Transition Bikes?

Transition Bicycles has demo bikes available at different events, company run demo days, bike festivals and your local bike dealer. For 2021 we are running the Laps on Us demo tour where you can demo different Transition bike models. Can I Demo Transition Bikes at Their Factory?

Yes, Transition Bicycles are available for demo by appointment at our factory in Bellingham, WA. You schedule a factory demo through our website where you can select the model, size and date when you can to demo a Transition Mountain Bike. Here is how it works.

• Demos are $75 with proceeds going to the Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition to build and maintain mountain bike trails in Whatcom County.
• Your demo fee is 100% redeemable towards the purchase of a new Transition bike through the Transition Outpost.
• Show up to the Transition Outpost at the specified date and time with your valid ID, credit card, riding gear, and pedals.
• Ride from the Transition Outpost to Galbraith Mountain which contains over 50 miles of world class mountain bike singletrack for all ability levels.
• Demos are available for scheduling 7 days a week between 10:00am - 5:00pm.
• Demos rides are for 4 hours max.
• Demo bikes must be brought back the same day by 5:00pm.
• Demos may be reserved up to 45 days in advance. If you need to book a demo for further out, please contact us directly for assistance.

Transition Bike frames start around $2000 depending on the frame material and rear shock choice.

What is the "Laps On Us" Tour?

Following almost 2 years of not traveling, we wanted to a fun way to get back out there and interact with the bike world again. For the Laps On Us Tour, Transition will cover the expense of your method for getting to the top of the hill. Whether that's renting out the bike park, shuttle service, or entry fee into a riding area. Transition employees will also be attending to pump the stoke and bring the Party in the Woods!
