Back in March 2020 as Coronavirus took a foothold in the U.S., the event and demo day world was turned upside down with the cancellation of every type of event that involved gatherings of people or touching product. Every brand attending events to offer product demos and every brand that had local retail in-store demos and sampling schedules were canceled until further notice.
Now that it's the second week of June, most states are reopening and some sport segments have restarted their demo day programs to make sure people have a chance to try products before they buy them. The first industry to do so is the Golf Industry, with brands like Wilson Golf, Cobra Golf, Cleveland Golf and others reposting their demo day schedule back online since March 2020.
The majority of golf demo days are held at local retailers and big box golf warehouses with almost every golf brand offering demos, golf club fittings and golf ball fittings. These golf demo days are run by company staff and offer anyone the chance to try the full line of the brands golf club models and golf balls.
Wilson Golf was the first brand to restart their demo day program with over 80 upcoming demo days across the United States through the end of August 2020, so we'll see if they continue to update the schedule with more opportunities to try the Wilson Golf D7 clubs and Wilson Golf DUO golf balls.
